I love these short 100 page books. You can read them in a day or two. So as all of you indie game developers can attest, sometimes it gets extremely hard to continue the arduous task of completing a project that you’ve been working on for a year or more. Is it worth the sacrifice (family time, sleep, etc)? Should I start working on a new game instead? So many difficult questions. I really dislike questions I don’t have answers to. Well, this book will help you in that regard. It talks about how a dip will be encountered in every activity that is worth pursuing. Those who get through the dip are rewarded greatly (especially because of less competition at the other end). However, things that are not worth pursuing have a cliff that might look like a dip. How to distinguish between the two…hmmmm…get the book!
